A new favorite in the beach resort property category. Nice room and breakfast, welcoming staff and ample resort activities makes this a location I’d happily revisit in the future. 4.5/5.

Pullman Orchard
The “Red Hot Rooms” rate on a last minute booking for a public holiday long weekend was a great deal for the hotel’s prime location. The room was new and modern and the facilities were excellent. 4/5. Would stay again.

Holiday Inn Express Taichung Park
Ratings are all about expectations, and this stay crushed them. For a sub-$100 stay at a Holiday Inn Express, they exceeded expectations at every step. Member status recognition, huge room overlooking Taichung park, awesome shower and a splendid free breakfast that puts many hotels’ paid breakfast to shame. YMMV’s first perfect 5/5 grade!
