Final Verdict

This hotel punches way above the Holiday Inn Express class with huge rooms (and we got lucky with a massage chair in ours!) and great breakfast. If we weren’t so spoiled from the previous day in Holiday Inn Express Taichung (at a lower rate), this would easily have earned a 5 star rating. It hence gets an informal 4.75 star rating: an unreserved recommendation if you’re ever in Chiayi. 4.5-4.75/5
