Barcelona
Day 1
Arrival in Barcelona. Chill
Day 2
- 9am: Placa de Catalunya. Cathedral. Barri Gotic Walk
- 11am: Go back to Placa de Catalunya and follow “Ramblas Ramble”
- 12pm: Grab lunch in El Born or the Barri Gotic
- 2pm: Tour Palace of Catalan Music in El Born
- 3pm: Explore El Born, and visit Picasso Museum
- Evening: Sample tapas at several bars in El Born. Free and easy sightseeing (see book)
Day 3
- 9am: Eixample, tour La Pedrera and/or Casa Batllo or Casa Amatller
- 12pm: Lunch in Eixample, then tour Sagrada Familia
- 3pm: Explore harborfront La Rambla de Mar and Old Port
Madrid
Day 1
Barcelona to Madrid (train). Chill
Day 2
- Morning: Self guided city walk from Puerta del Sol to Royal Palace (tour) and back
- Afternoon: Self-guided walk of glitzy Gran Via or self-guided bus tours of busy Paseo de la Castellana or funky Lavapies district
- Evening: Tapas dinner
Day 3
- Morning: Take a brish, 20-minute walk along Calle de las Huertas to the Prado (art museum with Mona Lisa 2. Reserve in advance!)
- Afternoon: Retiro Park, Reina Sofia (another art museum, closed Tuesday)
Seville
Day 1
- Madrid to Sevilla
- Cathedral and the Alcazar (buy tickets in advance!)
- Wander through Barrio Santa Cruz
Day 2
- Stroll along bank of Guadalquivir River and cross Isabel II Bridge to explore the Triana neighborhood and to savor views of the cathedral and Torre del Oro
- Flamenco show (music and dance performance)
Lisbon + Sintra
Day 1
- 10am: Explore the historic neighborhood of Alfama
- 12pm: Visit Sao Jorge Castle and enjoy panoramic views of the city
- 130pm: Lunch at a traditional Portuguese restaurant
- 3pm: Take a tram ride on the famous Tram 28, passing by key landmarks
- 5pm: Visit the Lisbon Cathedral and nearby viewpoints
- 7pm: Dinner at a local restaurant in the Bairro Alto neighborhood
- 9pm: Experience Fado, traditional Portuguese music, at a Fado house
Day 2
- 9am: Visit Belem and explore the Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery

- Morning: Travel to Porto (2.5 hr to 3hr)
